Q. I don't understand all of the bills I've been receiving. The medical terms are confusing and I don't know what procedures actually have been completed on my child. How can I better understand my hospital bills?

Can someone help me understand all the different Football (Soccer) leagues and tournaments?

For the past few years I have been watching more and more English Premier football and find it very entertaining, these guys are amazing, but I still do not understand how a team in this league and it's players relate to all the other leagues and other tournaments. A team line ManU for example plays in leage, out of league, international...etc and they play for the several different championships as a team, then their players also play on national teams in different tournaments...any ideas what I can get a full understanding of whats going on? How does spirituality help people understand the universe in which we live?
Q. I don t think it does at all; I think spirituality is really just a coping mechanism that people have invented and that is not based on any evidence or rational thought process. Spirituality is the sand in which people stick their heads like ostriches when the truth gets too hard for them to accept. How to help a five year old understand sums?
Q. Leone's got extra homework over the weekend to help him understand simple sums and he doesn't understand it. My husband doesn't like to get involved with maths just because he's not very good at maths and doesn't want to teach our son incorrect maths. So it's up to me to help him but I am not to sure how to get him to understand them.

When learning Spanish how do you understand when they talk so fast like a lawnmower?

I know how to pronounce the words perfectly and I can even read the words and understand them when said one at a time; however, when someone starts talking Spanish to me in full sentences it just sounds like a huge big blur and I can't understand nothing. Something that cats and humans have in common, is the use of higher pitched tones to indicate friendliness/pleasure and lower tones for disapproval. Q. I run two websites - one ghosts/hauntings and the other horror writers - and have Adsense ads on them. However, I need to know how to understand keywords more and click-through rates in order to make more money. How do you help people understand that adopting is better then breeding/buying?
Q. Some people seem so set on this. It's frustrating working in shelters, and seeing dogs come and go. Their are an estimated 400 million stray dogs alone in this world (not to mention cats, and other animals). Why are people so fixated on breeding, buying from pet stores, or back yard breeders? There are dogs of all ages, puppies to adults, mixed to pure breeds. But instead at Christmas everyone goes and buys a puppy. Not to mention the shelters that are overwhelmed with 8 month dogs in spring. There are shelters everywhere that are good, some are pounds and put the dogs to sleep after 72 hours. What does it take to get through to people? Dogs arn't fashion accessories and they arn't disposable!!! Does anyone feel this way too? How do… [cont.]

A. I was a breeder and exhibitor of purebred dogs. My dogs were in conformation, obedience and herding trials. As a breeder, I thoroughly knew the breed I was working with, my puppies were sold only to approved homes, on contracts and I knew where each and every one of them was. If a puppy, for whatever reason, didn't work out in the home it was in, I took it back. I love purebreds for many reasons, chiefly that I like to be able to do things with my dogs in various competitions. It's a recreation and much more. I am in no way responsible for the amazingly large amount of idiots who breed their dogs - mutts or pet quality pure breds, and flood shelters with unwanted dogs. How difficult is it to understand what the professor is saying in a 3rd year Spanish college class?
Q. Does the professor just speak the whole time and expect you to understand everything? How fluent are people in 3rd year Spanish supposed to be? I tested into the class but I don't think I am prepared.

A. You won't have trouble as long as you should be in the 3rd year class. For example, when I was a freshman, I took the Spanish placement test, which did not test listening or speaking. I could read and write at the 4th year level, but I could not speak it or understand it well at all... and I should not have been in the class. As long as you are on par with the 3rd level, you will do fine!
