What is the difference between commodity money and representative money?
Q. A) Commodity money consists of objects used as money that contains their own value, but representative money is a specific group of the commodity objects B) Commodity money consists of objects that have value in and of themselves, but representative money makes use of objects because the holder can exchange them for something else of value C) Representative money allows objects to be exchanged for something else, but commodity money has value because the government decreed it is an acceptable means to pay debts D) Representative money consists of objects that have value in and of themselves, but commodity money makes use of objects because the holder can exchange them for something else of value

A. There is NO easy money folks. You can make money online but it takes more work than most think. Many just simply give up... meh...here's the real truth. Who can resist pants of justice? Especially ones that fly! BUT really though it's a good read. I'm not trying to sell anything. Just my blog and some of the things I do daily. Visit the "Money Articles" section.

How can i earn more money sitting at home in India?
Q. I want to earn money as a part time basis. I want to do the job at night and i want to do it at home through internet. I stay in India so please tell me what to do. I want to do that kind of job where i dont have to spend some money initially or i dont have to deposit money initially. Please suggest. Most of the sites are there that have to deposit money before that Job.

A. I would imagine you could do some sort of customer service job from home, where you would just answer phone calls. Take a look at call center work.

What about the money illegals make while here?
Q. If they are making money while they are here illegally, is not that money the same as money a drug maker earns? And we sieze the money and belongings of drug makers when we catch them. So, shouldn't we do the same to the money that illegal aliens make?
Asked by woundbyte - Thu May 24 12:56:04 2007 - - 3 Answers - 3 Comments
A. I would say so. It hurts the U.S. economy because they send the majority of that money back to their "home" country. That limits the money that is in the flow of the economy. By the way, it is illegal to work for a wage and NOT report it to the IRS. It is considered tax evasion and in case you think it isn't a big deal, it is the ONLY thing that put Al Capone in jail. So in my eyes it is serious enough.

How much money can you make on a vending machine?
Q. I saw an add on craigslist that had a Red Bull vending machine for sale. I was considering buying it, but i didn't because i did not know if it would make enough money. If i did buy it I would place it somewhere in Oviedo/Wintersprings FL area. I need to know how much money I could make on a Red Bull vending machine in Oviedo/Wintersprings FL. -thanks!
Asked by Joey john - Wed Dec 23 19:02:57 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. 1. You will have to put it somewhere which means you will need to pay rent to the person who owns the land/building where you place it. 2. People will break into the machine, steal the money and the product when you aren't guarding it. 3. You will need to keep it in good repair. Do you know how to repair the machine if it breaks down (it is a used machine, right)? If the machine costs more than $5.00, I'd seriously consider using my money in another way.

How much money has passed thru your hands in a lifetime?
Q. If you had to guesstimate on average, including birthday money from relatives, your income from your job, graduation money, money from selling items, tax refunds, - not including credit cards, just cash, checks, and deposits into your checking accts. Money that has always been rightfully yours... How much do you think has passed through your hands. Give me a numeric answer. Would you consider yourself to be a millionaire today if you had saved it?

How do you receive money on ebay from buyers after they buy your item?
Q. When the buyer buys your item on ebay, how do you receive money from them? Using Paypal? How? Do you need to have a credit/debit card in your paypal account in order to receive money?
Asked by Cool_Kiss - Fri Jan 1 09:37:53 2010 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. You need to sign up with Paypal and then register as a seller. Then you can receive payments. Don't forget though...Paypal take a cut of whatever you get sent and this is after eBay have already had their own piece of your profit. You have to pay eBay for listing the items too so just watch your outlay before deciding what to charge for items and their p&p. Also, eBay is starting to force us to charge free p&p for a lot of items. I got round this by just putting my items in a category that lets you charge p&p. I used the 'wholesale' category last. I do this because eBay can't take a proportion of your p&p, only the actual selling price of the item. They are slowly changing the p&p rules for each category but you just have to find… [cont.]

How much money should a 14 year old have in their bank account?
Q. I am a 14 year old boy who loves money, and wants to succeed. I mow lawns, do garage sales, and a bunch of other stuff. I have nearly 2,000 dollars in my account. This is money that I have earned. After my birthday(6 months) I plan to have around 3500 dollars in it. This doesn't include my other account with a bunch of savings bonds for college. Is this a lot, or not enough? Also if you have any tips about life in terms of money it would be greatly appreciated.

A. Excellent attitude. However, taking advantage of a free education will make you vastly wealthier than if you have a small amount of money now. Getting extremely high grades (and investing the time and disciple they take) will be worth much, much more than a few odd jobs right now. I would also highly recommend taking classes at a local community college, rather than immediately going to a much more expensive 4-year college or university. The credits are almost always transferable, especially if the community college is reputable. Community college courses can cost hundreds of dollars per credit hour less, and you get the same education out of them...sometimes you get an even better education, since community colleges often hire… [cont.]

A. Depends on your marital status, number of dependents if any, if you're a dependent of anyone else, and any other income you (or a spouse) have. Also depends if you are considered an independent contractor or not. If you're working for an employer, are single with no dependents, last year you could earn $8200 before you even had to file. Anything under that you wouldn't owe taxes. You'd still get a W-2 from your employer at the end of the year showing your income and any withholding. If anything was withheld for income taxes, you would still want to file to get that money back. You might also be eligible for something called the Earned Income Credit which is a program that gives additional money to low income people who are working -… [cont.]

What happens to a deceased persons social security benefits or money?
Q. What happens to there money if they have a spouse still living and is already collecting his own SS checks He cant claim his wifes money too. Where does that money go too. A. When you collect SS, you are not getting back money you deposited over the years as you would in a self-directed retirement plan. You are getting monthly payments based on the number of years you contributed into the system, and the money you are paid is coming from younger people who are still working and paying into the system. If you were to try and set up the same arrangement in the private sector, you would be jailed for running an illegal Ponzi scheme. But I digress... When you die, your benefits cease immediately. There are some special arrangements for surviving spouses and a measly 250-ish death benefit. So the rest of the money stays in they system and is used to pay someone else. Many people, though, end up taking far… [cont.]

How much money does the government take out of online contest prize money?
Q. Yeah, so I'm a filmmaker who enteres ALOT of online film competitions for money. I hear ALOT of the time that the amount that they say you can win is never the amount you get because they take taxes out. But I have NO IDEA how much money that is. Is there an online calculator for that or something? And when they DO take it out, do they give it back during tax return season?
Asked by WhiteWood - Tue Feb 19 05:53:14 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The prize is taxed as ordinary income, and anything they withheld is shown as withholding on your tax return. It would be applied to the tax you owe, and if more was withheld for the year than your total tax, you'd get the extra refunded to you.

A. The bank should be able to help you. Find out from the bank which account it has been credited to. You can approch that person or account holder and explain and get back the money. But always be careful in NEFT transfers. Whenever I add a new beneficiary to the list of accounts, I always do a Re.1 transfer to that account as a test. Then I ask the other person to check whether they got my Re.1 and then only do the major money transfer.

A. If you have not already secured your cash advance, you may want to look into government grants...basically free money that you do not have to pay back.

Q. I heard that it is very difficult to earn money on twitter. How are many people making so much money on Twitter? I want to know how people are using Twitter to become rich. I am totally confused. Are there any books or like which can teach how exactly to use twitter to earn much money? A. Don't hear what other people said in their answers. Those who are saying you can't earn on twitter have never earned money and are losers. Don't listen to them. Twitter is the most powerful site and many people are making money on Twitter, its a fact, you can't ignore it. You can earn on Twitter by marketing the products whom you are affiliate with, by advertisements which you can get at "be-a-magpie" or "Twittad", by helping Twitter users professionally and many other ways. Remember millions of internet users are using Twitter. You can get many information on some forums on how to earn from Twitter. But if you want paid one which explains the strategies how to go about making money on Twitter, then I will recommend I purchased that… [cont.]

Q. Hi Everyone, I am trying to borrow some money up to $110k to from a relative in China to help me buy a property and start small business in the USA. Do you know how can my relative transfer the money to my bank? Any document the government might require me to provide such as a borrowing receipt or prove source of fund? Thanks, KH

A. Maybe you could try West Union they have the best and fast services. If you wanna try bank, then Bank of China. They will let you know what kind of document you need, mostly is to prove your money is "clean" and the purpose you going to do with it.

How much money does it cost us to keep all the American embassies around the world operational?
Q. I want to know where the money comes from? the amount? and does the amount include expenses for marines stationed there, the diplomat homes, transportation, and salaries and the original start up amount, like the amount of constructing a building as technically advanced as an embassy ex. bomb "proof" building, safe rooms, electronic interference proof rooms, ect? Also what happens to an embassy when they shut it down? Do we loose that territory? Do marines stay in it?

A. Just to answer your main question of the cost to keep all American Embassies around the world operational. 2010 Budget for the State Department is $48.6 Billion. Embassies are under the state department. $283 million to facilitate the hiring of over 740 new Foreign Service personnel. This is part of a broader effort to expand the Foreign Service by 25 percent. With regard to the security personnel, I think it is charged to the Armed Forces budget as it is their personnel. Other technical gadgets like communication equipment may be owned by the military and other agencies. With regard to capital assets like buildings, land, and others, there may be x-deals with the host country or tie up with foreign aid projects. Not all are cash based… [cont.]
