Q. i came from croatia 12 years ago i am a us citizen and i have a us passport.. i have a question just recentley i see on tv people geting deported. lets say if i get in trouble with the law do i have the same rights or what
Asked by 23and4 - Tue Jan 23 22:46:59 2007 - - 10 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If you are a naturalized citizen, you can not be deported unless there is proof that you lied on your application for citizenship. For example, if you were a mass murderer in Croatia, and when you applied for citizenship here you used the identity of one of your victims, your citizenship could be revoked. What you have seen are either people here illegally, or folks who are here legally, but are not citizens, who have violated the laws here and have forfeited their privilege of being here! You are a citizen, and have the same rights as someone who was born here. You are also subject to the same laws, and punishments, so try to follow the law!!!

How does immigration affect medical care in the US?
Q. Quick question: How does immigration affect medical care in the US? Legal immigration. I need answers with stuff related to cultural difference between the patient and doctor and other stuff like that. Thanks.

A. well, the language barrier is a problem. i do not understand chinese, russian, etc. some cultures do not allow a woman to talk to a male stranger, they have to talk through the dominant male, thereby not all info is given. some cultures it is taboo for a non-family male to touch a female. and, depending on where they are from, medical records, diagnosis, immune shots, and medicines are slim to none. health care in other countries is like non-existent, so people who come here have advanced cases and require more treatment than others. - more medication, treatment, and maybe other, more aggressive treatments that cost all of us more in the end. also, they are given medical care no matter if they can pay or not, and are given medicare and/o [cont.]

What is this immigration reform that those supporting illegal aliens keep demanding Is it making something?
Q. What is this "immigration reform" that those supporting illegal aliens keep demanding? Is it making something that is illegal legal? Is it amnesty for those who have broken our laws? Is it relaxing immigration laws in order to improve the already overwhelming influx of immigrants? That's what it appears to be. So considering this, how long will it be until this country becomes just like the countries the illegals are fleeing en masse?
Asked by Maricopa County - Sat Feb 27 00:17:44 2010 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments
A. They want amnesty to reward those who broke the law. They are for the destruction of this country and worry more about people who don't belong here than the real citizens who are this country!! If by chance another amnesty is ever passed, we can kiss the good ole usa goodbye. These people are already draining our country and it will be 100 times worse if thes legalize these invaders.

A. You need to put together a business plan. This will force you to detail exactly what it is you want to do, who your clients are going to be and how you will charge them among other things. I would go to and find the telephone for the Dallas chapter and set up an appointment with a local counselor. The service is free and they are very professional and good at what they do. You might also take a look at and read some of the articles on starting a business. Hope this helps.

what is different between united states immigration and egypt immigration?

A. The biggest difference is that Egypt doesn't have half a million Mexicans dodging immigration laws and trying to sneak into your country illegally...and I don't think Egypt would put up with that problem as passively as the US has...by the way, I recently met a family of Egyptian immigrants to the US last year...The father and mother are both physicians (and the father teaches at a medical school as well), and their son is an excellent basketball player who received a scholarship to play at a major college...very accomplished, respectable, nice people

A. this report has accounts by migrants in montreal. If you flip though it, or other parts of the website, you can come up with some. But among other things (the one already posted re: reporting crime is a good one) Do you stay in bad jobs/abusive relationships for fear of losing your immigration status? Are you able to get a job and pay equivalent to a citizen with the same skills/education as you? Can you navigate bureaucracies in a language that you are comfortable with? Do you have access to health care? Have you ever found yourself without status while waiting for a renewal or documents?

A. I like your point of view, and it seems similar to mine. Illegal immigration is a problem that must be stopped, but we most do it intelligently and humanely, not with extreme measures. The key in solving the issue is in improving our immigration system referring not only to security, but also making it easier for people who want to come here, and legalizing those who are already here through a selective process. What do you think would be the best change to the immigration bill, and why?
Q. I know this guest worker plan is a big joke, but seriously, if there should be any change, what should it be? I consider these changes essential before we can talk about changing the current bill. 1-Build a wall between Mexico and the US, 2-Allow all law enforcement the right to enforce the Federal laws of immigration. I request you if you are planning to report about any of ur fellow buddy then pls think twice as this may cause him / her a lot and you will not get any reward but the mental trauma that you have ruined one's life. Can a person get a immigration visa if they have had trouble in a foreign country?
Q. Getting required good conduct certificates from foreign countries you find out, one country refuses to give you certificate. Can you still get a immigration visa?

A. It depends on the policy of the country where you have an immigration visa application. The US requires an intending immigrant to submit a police certificate to places the applicant has lived for 6 months or more since he/she was 16 years old and that includes any foreign countries the applicant has lived.

A. Agree with David. Most immigration consultants are just scamming immigrants who don't know the system. ALWAYS use a licensed attorney who knows immigration law.
