A. Civil registration started around the end of 1837 so you don't get any marriage certs before then. Easiest way - go to and find the marriage on the index and write down the reference numbers, then follow the links on the bottom of the page which will lead you to the GRO where you can order the certs. I just ordered one to be delivered to Australia, cost 7 pound and only took 2 weeks to get here.
